ABOUT SHAW EARTHWORKS

Shaw Earthworks was founded in 2005 by brothers Brian and Brad Shaw to lead commercial, residential, municipal construction, and utility earthwork for small to medium-sized projects in Maine, USA. Because each of their projects has an immediate impact on the community, the entire Shaw Earthworks family continues to look for new technology and solutions to improve their ability to complete projects on time and within budget.

CHALLENGE: LIMITED BY TRADITIONAL LAND-MOBILE-RADIOS

Geographic limitations of traditional land-mobile-radios (LMR) are common. Fleets of vehicles delivering materials or heavy equipment machines working together on a site often get out of range, leading to a loss in productivity when communication is cut off between team members.

At any given time, Shaw Earthworks has as many as 18 loud construction vehicles grading, trenching, hauling, and handling expensive materials that need to be delivered and installed safely and without incident.

CHALLENGE: LIMITED BY TRADITIONAL LAND-MOBILE-RADIOS
